Deadline Feb 4 2024 11:59 PM (EST)
Description

The NBAA International Operators Committee is dedicated to promoting education and training as a means for individuals to enhance their safety knowledge and professionalism. To further this objective, NBAA Charities offers the International Operators Scholarship to benefit business aviation professionals engaged in international operations.

This scholarship applies mainly to those who are entering the business aviation industry or are seeking opportunities to expand their career in international operations. Scholarship recipients will be announced at the 2023 NBAA International Operators Conference, to be held from March 26-28, 2024 in Orlando, FL. Funds may be awarded for amounts up to $9,000 per applicant, and awards will be redeemable under the conditions established by NBAA and its donors. Applicants are limited to receiving one award per person every other year; i.e., recipients of the 2023 scholarship are not eligible to apply for the 2024 awards, but they will be eligible to apply again in subsequent years.

Scholarship recipients must complete all professional/educational training by March 2026, or risk forfeit of the award. Funds awarded through this program will be paid directly to the recipient for reimbursement of expenses associated with the designated education and/or training classes, except in the case of full-time students, when payments will be made directly to the school.

A completed application package, which includes application form, one essay and at least one letter of recommendation, must be received by NBAA no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on February 4, 2024, to be considered for the scholarship.
