- a current holder of an A&P certificate currently employed in general aviation, or
- a student currently enrolled in either an accredited A&P program or an approved FAR Part 147 school or
- aviation military personnel transitioning to business aviation.
3. Fill out this application form in its entirety check the terms and conditions box. You must type or print your name on every page and rank awards in order of preference for the application form to be considered complete.
4. Submit a 250-word, typed, double-spaced essay describing your interest in and goals for a career in the business aviation maintenance field. Your typed name must appear at the top of the page.
5. Submit a current one-page resume with permanent home address.
6. Submit a letter of recommendation from a supervisor, faculty member or other individual who is familiar with your capabilities. A recommendation from an NBAA Member Company Representative is encouraged but not required.
7. For full-time students, submit proof of enrollment, such as an unofficial transcript. For A&P, submit proof of certification.
8. Completed application package, which includes ranking of scholarship awards, one essay, one resume, one letter of recommendation and (for students) one transcript, must be received by NBAA no later than December 16, 2024, to be considered for the scholarship.
